Travel CT Tech - $2,812 per week in Bangor, ME

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 36 Hours Variable Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required Must-Have: - Experience with CTA studies and general studies - IV start skills preferred - Biopsy experience preferred - Experience with Siemens equipment preferred Description: ASAP start needed. Manager interviews available. Position requires 3x12 hour shifts with weekend rotation up to every other week. Overnight coverage will be needed as required. The facility operates as a Level II Trauma Center and receives air flights. It serves a significant portion of the state and is the closest trauma center within a two-hour radius. Certified Stroke Center with 411 beds. The facility has multiple imaging rooms equipped with Siemens CT machines. An average of 25-30 scans are performed per day. Patients consist primarily of adults and geriatrics, with some pediatrics and neonates included. Outpatient care includes oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical cases, and trauma. Training will be provided for biopsy procedures if needed. Support on the unit includes a Lead Tech and multiple CT techs scheduled for every shift. Radiologists are available on-site. The EMR used is Cerner and PACS is Enterprise Imaging AGFA. No floating is required; position is for a fixed location. Weekend rotation varies based on need. Holiday expectations are fulfilled in rotation with other staff. Scheduling follows a 4-week cycle. Scrub color should be any solid color as long as it is professional, or provided by the facility if needed.
