We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer in Milton Keynes for a Industrial Project. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of construction projects from start to finish. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a range of construction projects, making a key contribution to their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day activities on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Surveying & Setting Out: Carry out accurate measurements and calculations to set out the construction site and guide the positioning of structures.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure site activities are carried out in compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety checks and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
  • Reporting: Produce regular reports on site progress, highlighting any challenges and suggesting improvements where necessary.

Requirements:

  • Education: A degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within the construction industry (commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects).
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of construction techniques, surveying tools, and engineering principles.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge: A solid understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.

Desirable:

  • Experience with construction management software and surveying equipment (e.g., Total Stations, GPS).
  • CSCS card holder.

  • First Aid
