I am looking to speak with a Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a small yet expanding, award-winning ground engineering consultancy based in the south England. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who is looking to elevate their career and play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale projects for leading Fortune 500 developers.

As a Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will take on a key role in the project management and delivery of a wide range of geo-environmental and geotechnical services. This is an exciting chance to contribute to the strategic growth of the London team, with the ambition to triple headcount over the next five years.

Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage geo-environmental and geotechnical projects across all phases, from site investigation to design and remediation.
  • Work closely with clients and stakeholders, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and specialists, developing your expertise in areas such as contaminated land and geotechnical design.
  • Play an instrumental role in the continued growth of the London team, contributing to business development activities.

Senior/Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification in Civil Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Chartered status (or nearing chartered status) is desirable.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience within a UK-based ground investigation consultancy, delivering projects across all phases.
  • Strong project management experience, with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships.
  • Geotechnical design experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • A proactive, ambitious approach with a desire to contribute to the wider business success.
