Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer required for a Global Engineering Manufacturer of high security engineering products.
The Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical advice and solutions to customers, review documentation and enquiries as well as preparing and submitting quotations.
Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer will be based at the head office in Bolton and will be able to read technical drawings / engineering drawings and have prior experience as an Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer or other relevant experience.
This role will suit someone with an engineering qualification such as a HND / Higher National Diploma / HNC / Higher National Certificate / BEng / MEng in an engineering discipline such as Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Civil Engineering or someone who has some prior estimating experience.
Package: 30,000 - 35,000

Role:- Responsible for preparing quotations for customers and being the first point of contact for all enquiries
- Read technical drawings / engineering drawings and come up with costs for components and orders
- Review documentation and enquiries and respond in a timely fashion
- Maintain strong relationships with customers
- Speak to customers over the phone, in person and via email
- Provide technical advice and provide solutions
- Work towards targets and deadlines
- Support the aftersales team with enquiries
- Office based role in Bolton
Requirements:- Prior experience as an Estimator / Sales Estimator / Sales Engineer / Technical Estimator / Quality Inspector or similar
- An engineering qualification such as a HND / Higher National Diploma / HNC / Higher National Certificate / BEng / MEng in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering / Civil Engineering or similar
- Able to read technical drawings / engineerting drawings
- Live within commutable distance to the head office in Bolton
