Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker within an Family Safeguarding team within the Social Care Industry. Our client has a well-structured and organised team that are looking to grow their staffing levels. The role has a supportive team culture with regular supervision and a supportive management team. This is a great opportunity to join a team with a good Ofsted rated performance within Swindon Borough Council.

Main duties include:

  • Initial Assessments and Core Assessments
  • LAC Reviews
  • Giving Evidence
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Court Reports
  • Section 47's

To be successful:

For this role you will need to be a Qualified Social Worker with a HCPC Registration and educated to Degree Level IE: BA Hons, BSc, DIPSW, CCETSW. The client requests that the worker will have significant Court Experience and can work with a full varied caseload. You will also need to have the Eligibility to Work in the UK with previous experience within a Child Protection Team.
