We are seeking a talented Quantum Research Engineer to bridge cutting-edge algorithm research with practical software tools. In this role, you ll be working closely with the research team, translating state-of-the-art techniques into software tools, while also contributing directly to research output.
Key Responsibilities:
• Translate state-of-the-art algorithms into software tools, applied to solve optimization problems
• Stay updated on advancements in quantum research and integrate
• Optimize strategies for accessing and using quantum hardware
• Contribute to open-source software projects, publications, and whitepapers
Ideal Candidate:
• Advanced degree (Master s or PhD) in quantum information, physics, or related fields.
• Publication record in quantum information, optimisation and/or algorithms
• Strong knowledge of fault-tolerant algorithms
• Working knowledge of quantum error correction schemes
• Familiarity with Qiskit, Cirq, and scientific programming
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
Salary range: €60,000 - €90,000
