Fantastic opportunity to join a growing company who are manufacturers of electrical products related to the power industry. My client is looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager for their production site in Cannock

The quality manager role is to develop and implement quality control systems, policies and standards, and to monitor production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

The role of Quality Manager is to set quality objectives and targets, monitor quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Working closely with managers and departments to optimise processes, resolve quality issues, enhance quality and customer satisfaction. This is a key role in conducting audits, inspections, to assess and identify compliance gaps and non-conformities.

Developing and implementing quality control systems and standards

Monitoring production processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Evaluating production and supplier goods for any defects or deviations

Collaborating with other department leaders to establish quality assurance standards and objectives

Conducting regular audits and inspections to identify areas of non-compliance and implementing corrective actions

Coordinating and leading training sessions to educate employees on quality control measures

Reviewing and analysing quality performance data to identify trends or areas for improvement

Resolving quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner

Ensuring products meet customer expectations and specifications

Interacting with customers, regulatory bodies and suppliers to address any quality concerns or complaints

Health and Safety responsibilities and inducting new members of staff

To be considered for this role you may be working either currently as a Quality Manager within an engineering production environment or you could be a quality supervisor looking to step into your first Quality Manager role.
