My client in the Dinnington area of Sheffield are looking for time served Plater / Welders. Duties of the Role - Utilise hand and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal components - Perform welding tasks MIG to join metal parts(tack welds) - Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate fabrication - Work with sheet metal to create various components - Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet standards - Adhere to health and safety regulations in the workshop Qualifications - Previous experience in plating especially heavy plate work - Proficiency in using hand and power tools for metalwork -Able to use the gas axe for weld preps and general burning - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings - Experience with MIG welding techniques - Knowledge of basic maths for measurements and calculations - Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Working Days / Afters IND123
