The roleAs a Manufacturing Engineer you'll be responsible for investigating engineering problems, maintaining and developing processes, and advise junior engineers and operatives.
Day to day, you'll report to the Engineering team any opportunities that can be realised through the introduction of improved processes and techniques, lead engineering reviews in order to drive efficiencies into productivity and you'll review MRO1-4 production techniques to determine efficiencies with the process. You'll also develop business cases to support any investment in process improvements and amend, implementation and record manufacturing engineering processes and procedures.
Main Duties:- Report to the Engineering team any opportunities that can be realised through the introduction of improved processes and techniques
- Lead engineering reviews in order to drive efficiencies into material supply and quality
- Review MRO1-4 production techniques to determine efficiencies with the process
- Develop business cases to support any investment in process improvements
- Amend, implementation and record manufacturing engineering processes and procedures
- Manage all procedural and process changes through the agreed project management processes
- To ensure effective communication to all internal and external stakeholders
Essential experience of the Manufacturing Engineer:- Charted Engineer or close to be recognised as CEng
- Member of a professional Engineering Body
- Has a mechanical engineering background

Qualifications for the Manufacturing Engineer:- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Professionally certified Engineer
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC Security Clearance level for this role.
