Join Sherwin-Williams as a Management & Sales Trainee in an exciting entry-level program designed to fast-track you into a Store Management role within 18-24 months! With our promote-from-within philosophy, you'll have the chance to advance to an Assistant Store Manager position after successfully completing a 6-8 week training program.

This role typically involves a 44-hour work week, including evenings and weekends.

You will work alongside store management to manage a million-dollar business, providing valuable leadership and strategic insights for the store's success. Throughout this program, you will gain comprehensive knowledge of operations, clients, and internal strategies that will empower you to contribute significantly to our team.

Your goal is to expand our market share by selling to commercial clients, including painting contractors and purchasing agents, who require large quantities of our premium quality products.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
  • Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of this development program.
  • Must be able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • One (1) year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others.
  • Experience in a team-oriented setting through work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
  • Prior work experience selling paint and related products.
  • Experience with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language, particularly Spanish.
