The Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering Management & Sales Development Program is an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to equip you for a successful career as a Floorcovering Facility Manager or Sales Representative within 18-24 months. With Sherwin-Williams' commitment to promoting from within, you have the chance to advance to roles such as Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician after completing an initial 8-to-12-week training period.

This role involves a typical 44 hours work week, which may include evenings and weekends. As part of our national operations, Sherwin-Williams Floorcovering supports professional clients in various markets across the United States, providing you with diverse career options and consistent growth prospects.

During the program, you will collaborate with facility leadership and regional management to oversee a multi-million-dollar business. This experience will enable you to understand facility operations, product knowledge, installation techniques, and client development, placing you in a critical role for the success of our team. You will engage with commercial customers, including large property managers, builders, and renovation contractors, guiding their procurement needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be authorized to work without sponsorship.
  • A valid, unrestricted Driver's License is required.
  • A bachelor's degree is required by the beginning of the program.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • If currently employed by Sherwin-Williams, a recent performance rating of 'meets expectations' or higher is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Leadership experience overseeing others.
  • Experience working in team-oriented environments.
  • Previous experience selling floorcovering products is a plus.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping or customer relationship management systems.
  • Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is advantageous.
