Job Description

Allied Reliability is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee program development, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to include industrial equipment, production equipment, utility, and facility systems.


Essential Responsibilites include:

Developing and maintaining the preventative maintenance program in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's recommendation/industry-accepted best practices for all plant equipment. Ensure timely execution by maintenance technicians and operators of preventative maintenance tasks.

Monitoring the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.

Coordinating and assigning daily tasks with Department Supervisors, for all Maintenance Technicians as needed for production support as well as many special project tasks.

Overseeing and coordinating the Work Request and Work Order programs to ensure quality and timeliness.

Training and managing maintenance techs on all shifts on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and utility systems.

Installing, and repairing machines, equipment or structures using necessary tools.

Estimating & recording costs to repair machines or equipment.

Developing s training program for all utility systems including Ammonia Refrigeration and Boiler Systems including credentialling for all staff.

Contributing in objectively measurable ways to the success of all others in the organizations.

Supporting General Manager in business planning for future building and equipment investments and expansions.

Managing projects as necessary directing staff and/or working with general contractors.

Developing ongoing Continuous Improvement Plan for the maintenance department.

Creating SOP for prioritization, resource allocation.

Promoting General Plant Safety, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices.

Reporting issues with regards to the Food Safety Management System to the Quality Assurance Manager or executive leadership team and adhere to the requirements of FSMA.

Working knowledge and application of OSHA programs and safety operating practices, including but not limited to machine guarding, lockout/tag-out, personal protective equipment and safe maintenance practices.

Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards.

Manage spare parts and maintenance materials inventory.

Developing annual maintenance budget for approval and work within approved budget.

Other

Executing company Vision, Mission, and Values (VMV's) at all times.

Provide back-up support for other roles, as necessary.

Other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor.


Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Bachelor's degree in technical field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Be eligible and willing to immmediatley obtain a Minimum of a Certified Industrial Refrigeration Operator (CIRO License) .

Be willing to obtain a Master class Boiler License

Minimum 5 years as a maintenance Manager or supervisor in a fast-paced, rapid growth production or manufacturing environment.

Must have and are currently utilizing Electrical/PLC/Controls experience.
