Load Lane Operative
Location: Tilbury, Essex
Shift: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:30
Pay Rate: £12.75 p/h
Employment Type: Long-term, ongoing work
We are looking for Load Lane Operatives to join our client in Tilbury. This is a long-term opportunity with a global leader in the automotive industry.
Training will be provided for this role, but automotive experience would be a bonus.
The Role:
- Check vehicle chassis numbers to make sure the correct vehicles are being dispatched.
- Inspect vehicles for damage like scratches or dents and report anything you find.
- Make sure the inside and outside of the vehicle are clean, including checking the boot is tidy.
- Check if the wrap guard is in date. Remove if it isn t.
- Ensure all items, like mats and EV cables, are in the car. If not, replace them.
- Fill out a form for any missing parts and note whether they were replaced or sent out missing.
- Other ad-hoc duties as requested.
- Training will be provided.
The Person:
- Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points for minor offences.
- Someone who s happy working on their own when needed.
- Must be happy to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Basic automotive knowledge would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills as you will occasionally be calling the office.
