Job Description

The Human Resources Assistant performs a variety of administrative tasks in support of the human resources department, supporting throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding new hires and employee experience to improve retention.


Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Assists in the creation and maintenance of human resources forms or documents.

Answers basic employee questions about human resources policies or offerings.

Schedules and leads orientations, or training sessions.

Processes employee status changes; maintains records of completed transactions.

Inputs HR-related data and compiles standard reports for management review.

Coordinates HR projects, including meetings, training sessions, and surveys.

Acts as a liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.


Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED certificate required; relevant experience is a plus. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Extended periods of exposure to computer screen. Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
