The roleAs a Group Project Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will sit at group functional level to create and apply best practice and ways of working for project management activities and capabilities across Babcock.
Day to day, you'll deliver key project management functions in support of the overall project delivery
- Facilitate, develop and agree requirements , project scope and solutions for specific outputs and work packages
- Support the development of accurate and up-to-date financial and schedule estimates
- Support the planning, monitor and control of work packages
- Produce and communicate project-reporting data and metrics
Essential experience of the Group Project Manager:- Delivery of Programme/Projects
- Project lifecycle experience working on all or some of the project lifecycle phases from bid through to close out
- Experience of applying core project management techniques, with demonstrable ability
- Managing teams/projects (not line management)
- Managing multiple stakeholders and complex comms
This is a hybrid role, with some travel every other week to London, Bristol or Plymouth and possible international travel.
Qualifications for the Group Project Manager:- Academic - Batchelors degree and/or project management qualifications (APM PMQ desirable or agreement to attain)
- APM membership/similar
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC (can start on BPSS) security clearance for this role.
