Job description:
1. To provide gardening services to an expanding client base. The role will include:
Weeding Beds, pruning and cutting back plants (Plant presentation).
Planting (Plants, hedges and trees).
Hedge Trimming and some topiary work.
Lawn Mowing and strimming.
Tree maintenance (this is NOT tree surgery work but a tree pruning role).
Operating a wood chipper and or a chain saw.
Leaf blowing and lawn maintenance.
Path maintenance, weeding and jet washing.
Soft landscaping.
Turf laying/ re-seeding/ fertilising
Any other tasks as required by the client once signed off by Marsh Mushroom.
2. To assist in the expansion of the business by selling:
Plants including shrubs and trees.
Garden Pots
Strulch (a straw based mulch)
Soils including top soil, manures and compost.
Lawn seed and turf.
Experience Required: None as full and continuous training will be given. The successful candidate will be physically fit, love working outside, outgoing and friendly. The successful candidate will show an interest in plants and garden maintenance with a genuine desire to enhance their knowledge throughout their career at Marsh Mushroom.
Other Requirements: A full British driving licence and a car.
A UK bank account.
A proven ability to work in the UK
Remuneration: £25,000 per annum, payable monthly (£2,084.00) in arrears.
A Workplace Pension.
Holiday entitlement up to 20 days per annum. (preferred to be taken in Winter months) plus Bank Holidays.
