Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Overview

Sunfish Services Limited are seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Engineer to deliver high quality service and maintenance across our client portfolio, ensuring compliance with UK fire safety standards and legislation.

The Fire Alarm Service Engineer position offers a basic salary of 35,000 to 40,000 plus overtime, standby payments, company vehicle and fuel card, NEST pension scheme, 25 days holiday plus English Public Holidays. Average OTE earnings expected in between 45,000 and 60,000.

Fire Alarm Service Engineer Responsibilities

  • To service and maintain fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in accordance with the relevant British Standards
  • Correctly complete engineer service reports
  • Report deficiencies or deviations in systems
  • Participate in the out of hours call out rota

Fire Alarm Service Engineer Skills

  • Ofqual Level 3 or Firequal Level 6 Fire Industry Qualification
  • Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Installation qualifications or equivalent
  • Sound knowledge of British Standards including BS5839-1:2025
  • Knowledge of analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
  • Full UK driving licence
