Job Description

Title: Financial Accountant
Location: Gainsborough
Job Type: Permanent Office Based
Salary: DOE

JGA are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join a leading international manufacturing business and lead on all tax related operations.

This is a fully officed based role.

You ll be responsible for:
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of tax and pension accounts, managing tax responsibilities across the UK and Europe.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting guidelines.
  • Keep up-to-date with tax regulations and filing requirements, handling VAT submissions in both the UK and Europe.
  • Administer duty declarations, bonded warehouse activities, and ensure adherence to AEO requirements.
  • Lead tax audit preparations, conduct regular internal compliance reviews, and complete PSA and UK Corporation tax filings.
What You ll Need:
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Qualification in accountants (desirable).
  • Tax knowledge essential.
