Job Description:
As an Executive Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of talented chefs, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Menu Development: Assist in developing and executing innovative menus that reflect the latest culinary trends and our unique Asian-inspired concept.
- Food Quality: Maintain the highest standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, reduce food costs, and optimize purchasing strategies.
- Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
- Kitchen Operations: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, production, and sanitation.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
- Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of Asian cuisine.
- Excellent leadership and management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
