Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for a Estimator/ Surveyor on a permanent basis located in Colchester, Essex.
We are looking for a well rounded Estimator/ Surveyor to join our clients team. You will plat a massive part in assessing and managing projects related to insurance claims and building works. This positions requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast paced, reactive environment, particularly with experience in insurance repairs and the education sector.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site visits to assess damage and gather necessary data for insurance claim projects.
- Collaborate with clients, insurance companies, and contractors to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.
- Prepare detailed reports and documentation for insurance claims and project management.
- Provide expert guidance and solutions to clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with the second surveyor and project teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Pricing Tenders value between £50k-£500k
- Small works pricing £
Requirements
- Proven experience in a reactive work environment or in insurance repairs is highly desirable.
- Experience of using Xactware and/or Symbility desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- FUll UK Driving License
