We are looking for a Head of Operations to ensure Clients benefit from a consistently exceptional and reliable infrastructure experience across a national data centre estate. You’ll champion standards, optimise processes, strengthen compliance, and help shape a culture of excellence and sustainability.
What you’ll be doing

Lead the development and delivery of standard operating procedures across our data centres

Drive consistency, quality, and continuous improvement in operational performance

Ensure full compliance and provide clear reporting for internal & external audits

Train and support operational teams, ensuring procedures are understood and adopted

Maintain & publish a live library of operational procedures and improvement updates

Own data centre operational risks — embedding enhancements into processes

Keep ahead of industry best practice and evolving compliance standards
About you
You bring a blend of leadership, process excellence, and operational discipline, with the ability to influence across teams and ensure high-quality, repeatable delivery.
Essential:
Proven leadership in operational standards & continuous improvements
Experience in data centre operations or critical infrastructure environments
Qualifications in engineering, IT, Ops or process improvement
Strong understanding of compliance & regulatory frameworks
Excellent communication, documentation & stakeholder influence skills
High attention to detail, structured & methodical mindset
Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
Experience writing and embedding operational procedures
Knowledge of ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO27001, ISO14001, ISO50001
