The role

As a Cleaner at Brize Norton you'll have a secure and rewarding job that's out of the ordinary. In this role you'll deliver exacting cleaning services to ensure a safe and healthy environment at the largest station in the Royal Air Force with approximately 7600 personnel - a combination of military, civilian and supporting contractors. If you are someone with excellent attention-to-detail, high standards and a desire to do your job to the best of your ability, every day, then this role may be the perfect job for you.

Day-to-day you'll:

• Carry out waste management, including collection, disposal, and monitoring of contracted services.
• Carry out external litter clearing, and other cleaning as required.
• Carry out reactive cleaning as required
• Carry out any other reasonable requests for support of services, as directed by management
• Provision of a general porterage service.

Essential experience of the Cleaner:

• Commercial cleaning experience would be an advantage
• Must be able to apply for a DBS check and pass SC clearance

Qualifications of the Cleaner:

We value difference and we don't have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show sufficent cleaning experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.

This role is full time- permanent and based on site at RAF Brize Norton. This role is 4 days on 4 days off, 10-hour shifts. 1 hour + 2 x 15 min breaks, Weekdays 09:00hrs to 19:00hrs. Weekends and Bank Holidays 07:00 to 17:00hrs. Timings can be agile but must meet the Business Needs. Bank Holidays must be covered by one member of the cleaning staff on shift. Day in lieu will be given if worked

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role. And will also need to obtain their own DBS certificate.
