Job Overview
We're seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage and support our employee benefits programs across the U.S. and Canada. This includes health insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits administration for both regions, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer benefits programs for employees in both the U.S. and Canada (health, dental, vision, retirement, etc.).
- Manage open enrollment, life events, and terminations for both regions.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and support in the U.S. and Canada.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, OHSA, provincial requirements).
- Coordinate with vendors, track billing, and reconcile invoices for both countries.
- Support benefits communications, education, and reporting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, with knowledge of both U.S. and Canadian benefits programs.
- HRIS and benefits platforms experience with ADP or Workday
- Hands on experience with U.S. and Canadian benefits regulations (ACA, ERISA, OHSA, provincial laws).
