Job Description

iWorld Professionals is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager for our client in Boston Mass. If you are detail oriented and enjoy managing large construction projects, then this is the position for you! This is an onsite position in Boston Mass.


Assistant Construction Project Manager Summary:

the APM will work as part of the project management team in the coordination and execution of construction projects. You'll work closely with our experienced Project Managers to learn the ins and outs of the industry, ensuring successful project completion and a seamless workflow from start to finish.


Assistant Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Sr. Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating construction projects, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Monitor project progress, quality control, and budget adherence.
  • Help manage subcontractors and vendors, including coordinating schedules and ensuring work meets quality standards.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Support cost tracking, budget updates, and change order management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on-site.
  • Communicate project updates to the team and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Contribute to project close-out procedures, ensuring final documentation and punch lists are complete.


Assistant Construction Project Manager Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field highly preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction, internship, or co-op experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Understanding of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to work onsite in Boston Mass.
