The Sherwin-Williams Accelerated Management & Sales Training Program offers a unique opportunity for individuals seeking to fast-track their careers in store management. Designed as an entry-level role, this program will prepare you for a Store Management position within 18-24 months. With Sherwin-Williams’ commitment to promoting from within, successful candidates will have the chance to advance to an Assistant Store Manager role after completing an intensive 8-week training program.
This role typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, encompassing evenings and weekends as needed.
Throughout the program, you will work closely with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing valuable leadership and insights into store development and strategies. You’ll gain comprehensive knowledge of store operations, client interactions, and internal strategies, enabling you to play a key role in your team's success. This position will also focus on expanding the company's market share by targeting large commercial users, including painting contractors and purchasing agents, who require significant volumes of our exceptional products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete training consistent with the established program.
- Support business strategies aimed at increasing sales and optimizing profitability.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exemplary service.

- Develop positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country without sponsorship.
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must possess a bachelor's degree by the start of this program.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service environment.
- Leadership experience supervising others or leading teams.
- Relevant experience in team-oriented settings through work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
- Background in selling paint and related products.
- Experience with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
- Ability to communicate in more than one language is a plus; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
