Job Description

  • Operate the 360 Material Handler efficiently.
  • Load and unload vehicles, containers, and boxes.
  • Sort materials into bays and stockpiles.
  • Feed the shear using the handler for efficient material processing.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols and site regulations.
  • Follow a schedule of work and complete tasks on time.
  • Help maintain a tidy and organised yard.

Essential Requirements:

  • 360 Machine Licence.
  • Experience with grabs, magnets, and sorting scrap metal.
  • Strong knowledge of metal recycling.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • A flexible, proactive approach to work.
  • A willingness to learn and improve.
  • A positive and driven attitude.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Desirable Experience:

  • A UK driving licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with a shear is desirable.
