We are seeking motivated individuals passionate about sales to join our Sales Leadership Development Program. This program is meticulously designed to equip you with the essential skills and experiences that will transition you into a Sales Representative role within our Performance Coatings Group, specifically addressing technical divisions including Coil, Industrial Wood, General Industrial, Packaging, or Protective and Marine.

The Leadership Development Program (LDP) spans 10-12 months, immersing participants in a focused sales role that builds expertise through hands-on experience. During the program, you will gain in-depth understanding and practical knowledge vital for success in sales.

Participants must be open to relocation during the program as well as for potential post-program roles. Listed below are some potential locations; willingness to relocate is essential:

  • Sacramento, CA
  • Madison, WI
  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Cincinnati, OH

  • Dallas, TX
  • Houston, TX
  • Boston, MA

The program also involves travel of up to 50% of the time, which is essential for fostering customer relationships and business growth.

Your Growth Journey:

  • Gain expertise in technical sales, customer service, and business-to-business relationships.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of sales processes, business operations, and market strategies within Sherwin-Williams.
  • Enhance skills in sales strategies, finance, and strategic business planning.
  • Network professionally to establish cross-functional partnerships.

Upon successful program completion, you will be eligible to apply for a post-program promotion to the Sales Representative role.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
  • Minimum 2.8 GPA or higher.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Openness to relocation as dictated by business needs.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
  • Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Age 18 or older.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in team-oriented environments.
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
