The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program offers an exciting entry-level opportunity designed to equip you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our strong promote-from-within philosophy, you will have the opportunity to advance into an Assistant Store Manager position after successfully completing the initial 8-week training.
This full-time position involves a typical schedule of 44 hours per week, including possible evenings and weekends.
Throughout the program, you will collaborate with store management to oversee a million-dollar business, providing critical leadership and insights that contribute to the store's development and strategy. You’ll learn all aspects of operations, customer relations, and our internal strategies, preparing you to significantly impact our team's success. Additionally, you will help expand the company’s market share by selling high-quality products to large commercial customers, including painting contractors and manufacturers.

Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill levels, and work experience, which could influence the final wage range for this position.

- Complete training consistent with the established program.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for a work visa now or in the future.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service roles.
- At least one (1) year of experience in leadership roles, including supervising others or leading teams.
- Previous experience in team-oriented settings, such as work, extracurricular activities, or military service.
- Experience in selling paint or paint-related products.
- Familiarity with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in Spanish is a plus.
