The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an exciting, fast-paced entry-level opportunity designed to prepare you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our promote-from-within philosophy, you'll have a clear pathway to advance to an Assistant Store Manager position upon successful completion of our initial 8-week training.
This position typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and weekends.
Throughout the program, you will work closely with store management to lead a million-dollar business, providing valuable insights into store development and strategy. You will immerse yourself in our operations and client relationships, equipping you with essential knowledge to contribute significantly to our team's success. Your role will involve expanding our market share by engaging with large commercial users, such as painting contractors and purchasing agents, who require substantial volumes of our high-quality products.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of this development program.
- Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service position.
- At least one (1) year of experience in leadership roles, supervising others, or leading teams.
- Experience in team-oriented settings including work experience, extracurricular activities, or military service.
- Prior work experience selling paint and related products.
- Familiarity with timekeeping and/or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future job opportunities.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend in multiple languages, including Spanish.
