The Sherwin-Williams Management and Sales Trainee Program is a dynamic entry-level opportunity aimed at quickly advancing your career into a Store Management role within 18-24 months. Embrace our promote-from-within culture where you can grow into an Assistant Store Manager position after a successful completion of a focused 6-8 week training program.
This position typically requires a commitment of 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and/or weekends.
During the program, you will work closely with store management, gaining valuable experience in operating a million-dollar business. You will play a crucial role in shaping store strategy and operations, acquiring comprehensive knowledge about internal strategies, and developing skills that contribute to the team's overall success. As part of your responsibilities, you will increase the company’s market share by engaging large commercial clients, including painting contractors and purchasing agents, who require substantial volumes of our top-quality products.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs and up to 70 lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
- One (1) year in a leadership role or experience supervising teams.
- Experience in team-oriented work settings, including extracurricular activities or military service.
- Previous experience selling paint and related products is a plus.
- Familiarity with timekeeping or customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Willingness to relocate for future opportunities.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
